General Information

I have been on the staff of Crawshaw School since 1996. Immediately prior to that my husband, Chris and I ran a motel in central Hamilton and I did some relief teaching at Hamilton Kindergartens.
I taught the new entrants class at Crawshaw until 2010 when I became Deputy Principal. In 2012 I became Principal.
Crawshaw is an extension of my family. The parents of a number of the students at Crawshaw were in my class when they started school and I have enjoyed watching them grow into independent, responsible adults. It is a pleasure and a great responsibility to work with the Crawshaw Board of Trustees and the school staff to serve the Crawshaw community to provide the best primary school education for the tamariki that we can. There is such potential here. The children are our future. I truly believe that together we can give them wings and they will fly.
Out of school I enjoy being with my children and 6 young grandchildren, walking my pug-cross dog 'Bob', Scottish country dancing, reading and gardening.
